I recently recieved a question regarding capturing videos from a camcorder. I have a SONY DCR-PC5E quite old now but i still have tapes with stuff i want to transfer to DVD, i still have the cable which came with the camcorder which i usually use to connect to the TV, this works with the easycap.

On your camcorder you should see similar to the picture below Audio/Video Out connect your cables to this port and the composite video cables to the Easycap. My handycam is PAL 50hz as standard so i got a picture immediately.
