I have the same problem except my audio works and the picture doesn’t, its just a black screen no matter what. I’ve checked the cables and nothings wrong there

I am about to purchase an easycap adapter. From the pictures it has 4 wires (red, yellow, white and black) and also a USB connecting cable. So far so good!
I want to connect the adapter to a VHS recorder SCART output using a scart adapter BUT the SCART adapter has female cooections for the red, white and yellow wires – as does the easycap adapter. Can you please advise how these can be fitted? Thanks

Hi, I’ve conneced my old 8mm camera to the easycap to backup on DVD. My problem is that it works perfectly on my home computer using Windows XP, however, it does not work on my laptop and work PC running Vista Business. The preview screen remains blank. I bought my EasyCap on ebay. It arrived yesterday with Ulead video studio. It took me whole day to get it working but eventually I found there wasn’t any sound coming through. Very offten my laptop crashes when I connect the easycap. I brought the device to work and I tried on different PC and had the same problem. Can you help me? Do you think I bought a duff one on ebay?

I bought this easycap and I have a problem. Whenever I connect it to my computer, a bubble appears and it says that the tool can run faster if I connect it to an 2.0 USB port. But I have 8 USB ports and all of them are 2.0.
When I start the Ulead Video Studio >> Movie Wizard >> Capture option, so when the signal could come, and the program could detect it, on the taskbar appears another bubble, says that the Bandwidth Exceeded, and to put it to another port. I have already tried all the 8 ports.
What could be the problem, and how could I solve it? The tool wasn’t cheap, and I really want to use it to digitalize VHS videos. So if somebody can, help me please!

why after i install the soft wear for e cap every thing works but if i plug in the grabber my computer does not pick it up after trying it twice it still does the same thing

I have never seen a forum that is 100% questions and 0% answers. No down-loadable driver on products website. If you havent bought this I would say DONT! Terrible company!

do you have both audio channels connected also what source are you capturing from VCR or console? make sure the audio input source is USB

Hi, I have recently bought the easy cap and have encountered a MASSIVE problem, it refuses to work on any computer I own/have access to, but I have a Netbook which is the most uptodate computer I have, is there a way to download a driver from online… Pls Thank you.

i cant instal the driver for my easycap adapture.i get a massege to instal s.p 2 to my win xp.
my windows s.p is ver 3.0

hi. i have easycap. but the cd doesn’t contain sm-usb 007. driver vista this is what i need. where can get it please!!!

Tryed to install the Easycap on my pc, but the Easycap isn’t reconizged. What am i doing wrong?

I have great success with Ezcap

Got an easycap today took a little while to load the software the picture is excellent but I think there is an intermittent problem with the sound

1. i have some background noises while i connecting the device to my video camera
2. i cant see a picture when the device is connected to my VCR

I have never seen a forum that is 100% questions and 0% answers. No down-loadable driver on products website. If you havent bought this I would say DONT! Terrible company!
